Music requests to share!

Music requests to share!

After some very nice parties over the weekend, I thought it a great idea to make it a regular thing in sharing the top 20 tracks from both client requests and the little added DJ touches (in blue) made to link everything together.

Fetcham Park, Friday 22nd March. One seriously cool guests list that was matched by and equally stunning request list from the bride and groom.

It’s been a while! We attempted our review of 2012 in January but the Christmas recovery took longer than anticipated. So after yet another incredible year of real weddings, our first magazine cover and feature (Pro Mobile) and our first promotional photo shoot at Fetcham Park, we zoom in to 2013 in style.

The year ended for us in spectacular fashion with Matt making a grand entrance upon a revolving stage at Claridge’s to the intro of Queen’s “We Will Rock You”, courtesy of another very cool wedding from Niemierko. We completed a legendary run of Christmas parties at both the Shakespeare’s Globe with Swan Events, and further along the South Bank at the London Film Museum

We played some great festive events for Dewintons at the stunning Art Deco Bloomsbury Ballroom and for Party Ingredients at the equally beautiful Skinners Hall. Our return to Home House also saw us working once again with the very cool production team at Event Concept.

To complement the diverse selection of venues and events, we finished off with our first venture into the world famous Ritz hotel, and London’s highest New Year’s Eve party within the champagne bar at London’s Tower 42, Vertigo 42.

The first big party of 2013 was also our second visit to fashion house Chanel, who produced a starlit affair surrounded by a collection of vintage Mercedes cars. The season of industry events kicked off with us supplying the soundtrack to the Something Blue event at the amazing One Marylebone for both the wedding press and brides to be.

Weddings By Harrods followed, with a Champagne Launch in store. As the exclusive supplier for all things DJ to this truly British establishment, we thought it a good idea to take along two of our DJs, DJ Felix and DJ Simon Cabrerra, to help mingle and spread the love.

March for us is all about Love Scarlett; a new online platform for wedding professionals from the truly talented Penny Cullen. Through Love Scarlett we’ll be putting together a selection of exclusive DJ mixes and interviews from both our own DJs, and DJs we feel are making a noise on the finer UK event and party dance floors. Check out Matt's interview complimented by the first exclusive soundtrack. Next up for volume 2, DJ Sam Young.

Our Mixcloud page now has a good, solid and organically growing following. If you’ve not yet checked it out, Mixcloud is a brilliant London based web site that enables DJs and the like to legally stream high quality music mixes. Along with our music, it’s an amazing place to discover music and DJ sets from around the world and from virtually every genre of music. It’s also a goldmine of classic radio shows.

From 2013 we are pleased to add the following to the growing list of venues to which we are now a recommended supplier for DJs: Museum Of London, Claridge’s Hotel, Weddings By Harrods and South Coast boutique hotel The George In Rye.

We have an amazing summer of parties to look forward to, and are now backed up by one of the finest teams of event DJs available. April will see us a little closer to home with Circa Events and our first destination wedding for 2013 kicks off in Tuscany, Italy, this June. We're also looking forward to venturing to three of the corners of the UK: England, Scotland and Wales.
