Into 2012!

2011, gone but not forgotten.
Our final few months of parties and events in 2011 included the Tigerlily Weddings' Sirens event at the stunning Fetcham Park. It's great to have other suppliers as much in to their music as us. We crafted Penny's soundtrack selection to the show into one continuous mix, which complimented both the venue and style of the show perfectly.

Download the mix here: Sirens Soundtrack
December also saw us supplying our White Sound System and White LED Dance Floor to a stunning Mirage Parties produced Narnia Themed Christmas Party held within a very large tipi.
Samsung invited us along to play an urban inspired set for the launch of the Samsung Note, followed by corporate events for the likes of Breitling Watches, Exxon Oil, Harper Collins Publishing, The Olympic Games Authority, National Australia Bank, Oxford University and the Carphone Warehouse to name but a few.
We complimented these with DJ sets at venues including The London Film Museum,  Haymarket Hotel, The Delfina, TheLanesborough Hotel, The Royal Exchange, The Waldorf Astoria Syon Park, The Soho Hotel and culminating on NYE for both a Virtual Firework Party at Roast and a fabulous wedding in the Ballroom at Claridges.
Weddings 2012
Our first wedding of 2012 was held at the recently refurbished and very luxurious Savoy Hotel with Bruce Russell. Here we supplied the DJ, White Sound System, Dance Floor and Lighting for what was another amazing day.
The clients' music brief was for a champagne reception soundtrack befitting such a opulent and classic venue, to include Gershwin, Cole Porter, Sinatra and the like.

Download the mix here: Savoy Champagne Mix .
Feedback from Savoy wedding: Read what our client thought of us

The first important social event of the year had to be Mark Niemierko's Afternoon Tea at The Dorchester, in honour of Darcy Miller, Editorial Director of Martha Stewart Weddings in the US. Here we mingled in the Penthouse with the industries finest. As always a great gathering .

In the coming months, we're really looking forward to so many more weddings, including two at the Four Season's Park Lane with both Tigerlily Weddings and Niemierko.

Other venues we're looking forward to playing weddings for the first time include the very contemporary styled The Hempel and the previously mentioned, stunning and very classic looking Fetcham Park.

DJs 2012
2012 will see us introducing a selection of new DJs including our first female DJ and a New York based Russian event DJ! A new team photo shoot is in the pipeline, so expect lots of fabulous looking DJs with the turntable talent to match! But as always, for us it’s all about the music.
Corporate 2012
Our first major corporate event of 2012 saw our Dj Rory Gleeson grace the decks for the luxury brand Chanel’s annual party. By all accounts the floor was full and the resulting goody bag for Mrs Gleeson ensured a very happy DJ and client.
2012 will see us push further into the corporate area for product promotion, brand launches, in-store Dj performances and party entertainment.

Music
With so many styles of music that may appeal to one client will not appeal to another. With this in mind our aim, as always, is to play to the guests - to create the mood and energy our clients expect and enjoy. This works for us and is why we're fast becoming the Dj company of choice for the finest weddings, parties and select venues in the UK.
As always, we'll be posting numerous mixes by email, on our blog and also on our facebook page, for your listening pleasure.

If classic house music and Old Skool Raves are your thing, the Matt Maurice alter ego of Vinyl Matt will be touching down for a headline set at the legendary Club Labrynth & Desire reunion party at Fire, London. 11th Feb 2012.

Finally, our online music database is as popular as ever. Explore, create and play.

The best feedback ever! Savoy Hotel, Wedding January 12.

Matt, we are incredibly grateful and can not express how perfectly you underscored our precious wedding day. Being performers, music is very important to us and is a huge part of our lives. You captured our taste and lifestyle with such flair and enabled us to have romance, style, fun, showbiz, sincerity and a world of emotions from beginning to end. The lighting was magical and  aided the mood with subtlety and class, and glitz and glamour to boot!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your care and talent and for sharing them with us.

Tamsin and Chris x
